History

Greystoke Lodge holds a rich history dating back to the 1950s when it was originally constructed by the Prudential as accommodation for their employees. In a transformative move in 1986, the west part of the site was developed into houses, while Greystoke Lodge underwent a comprehensive refurbishment and conversion of its flats. The Prudential subsequently sold the majority of these flats on the open market. To ensure the well-being of the community, a resident’s management company named “Greystoke Lodge Limited” was established, where all lessees hold a share, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility.

Greystoke Lodge presents itself as an impressive mansion style development, primarily spanning five floors and configured in a distinctive “T” shape.

It comprises a total of 40 flats, with the main entrance providing access to 40 of them, while two additional flats have their own separate entrances at the site’s rear. The building’s architecture is characterized by brick construction complemented by a pitched tiled roof.

Parking is accommodated at the front of the building, where spaces are available for rent. To the rear of Greystoke Lodge lies a hidden gem—a beautiful garden characterized by its mature landscaping.

Upon entering the building, residents and visitors are greeted by a grand and spacious entrance hall, complete with a wide staircase and generously sized landings on the upper floors. Modern conveniences include a paneled passenger lift and a video entry-phone system, ensuring both comfort and security.
